He was raised by Thomas Allison of Gwinnett Co, GA. When Thos died, his son-in-law received this slave. He was known as a body servant. He stayed on to continue working for Robt Foster after the war. He was a husband and father. He was murdered in 1871 by the KKK in Chattooga Co, GA. He is buried in the Lyerly Cemetary in an unmarked grave.
