Item 1st I give bequeath and devise to my wife, Martha W. Harper, the following property to wit. The center portion of Lot of Land No. nineteen (19) in the thirteenth (13) District and fourth (4) section of said county seventy acres more or lefs the lines running north and south said land free from all charges or limitations whatever to her own proper use, benefit and behoof during her natural life and after the death of said Martha W. Harper the above named land to be divided Item 2nd between C. M. Harper and Mrs. Emma Martin equally. C. M. Harper to have the house and three acres of land around the same and Emma Martin to have three acres of land off of C. M. Harper’s half to make Emma Martin even in lands, free from all charges or limitations whatever to their own proper use, benefit and behoof. [Written in left margin:] and said Martha W. Harper to have all the stock household & kitchen furniture to ____ said ____ ____ named. Item 3rd I give bequeath and devise to my son, W. S. Harper the following to wit – five hundred dollars in cash. Item 4th I give bequeath and devise to my daughter Almedin Tapp the following to wit five hundred dollars cash Item 5th I have given my daughter Julia C. Story seven hundred and sixty five dollars all I intend for her. Item 6th My daughter Fanny Lumpkin had received from me four hundred and sixty dollars her part of my estate all I intend for her. Item 7th I hereby constitute and appoint my son C. M. Harper Executor of this my last will and testament this the 8th day of September 1887.
