The land is situate in CHEROKEE as are the trustees of the church. Do not know how Mr Brooks came into possession of the land. It was deeded by Eli McConnell to the trustees of Big Springs Camp Ground in 1854 and to my knowledge used for the purpose of public worship as either a Camp Ground or Church since that date.
