A flat loaded with marble, drawn by "Little Mary" from the quarries to Tates, last Wednesday, broke coupling and ran back down grade to the quarries, a distance of three-quarters mile, at the rate of 75 miles per hour. It went with almost lightning velocity, struck a box car and drove it into "Jasper" engine, demolishing both cars and the engine, and scattered marble slabs in wild confusion. The estimated marble loss is $700 and the road's loss to engine and cars about $1,000.
