The Cherokee Advance (Canton, GA)    8 April 1887 P 3 April 8, 1887
Col. H. C. Kellogg, postmaster at this place, was stricken with paralysis and fell 
upon the sidewalk while closing his office last Saturday evening. He was carried 
home and has since been confined to his bed. He is partially paralyzed on his 
right side. He is receiving good medical treatment and kind nursing and we trust 
he may soon recover. His son and daughters are attending to the duties of the 
office.
