The Cherokee Advance [Canton, GA]    Friday  1 April 1887 P 3 April 1, 1887
James C. McConnell was adjudged to be insane last Tuesday. He became violent on 
Monday night, and his family thought him dangerous and best for him and them that 
he be sent to the asylum. He was about 28 years old, unmarried.  He will be 
carried to the Asylum as soon as the authorities will signify their intention to 
receive him.
