Cherokee Mills Items
Mr. Jones Ellison, living in the Potash settlement, met with a very serious 
accident last week.  While gearing his mules to the wagon one of them became 
frightened and took a circle around him, wrapping the chain about his body--and 
life would soon have been extinct had not a colored man went to his rescue.  He 
is recovering.
