She learned soon after the cyclone had passed that a bed belonging to her had been picked up in a settlement about fifty miles from where she lived, and remembering this on her trip to Towns county, whither she has recently moved, she made inquiry in the settlement as she passed through, and described her bed, --when, to her pleasant surprise, the bed was brought out and given her in almost as good condition as before the cyclone had lifted and carried it so suddenly and rapidly away.
