Peardon, was on last Tuesday adjudged to be insane. A few weeks ago she attempted to poison Mr. Peardon by boiling up poison oak in his soup, and succeeded in making him quite sick. It was this poisoning that led to her arrest and conviction as an imbecile. Until provision can be made with the Asylum authorities for her admission she will remain with Mr. J. T. Sutton.
