And the Villain of a Husband Returned to His Wife. Canton, Ga. January 26. - [Special.]- Some weeks ago the Cherokee Advance con- tained an article in regard to one Andrew Harper and Mrs. W. s. Dimsdale leaving Ball Ground together and palming them- selves off on the country as man and wife. Harper left a wife and three children, and Mrs. Dimsdale a husband and two children. Nothing definitely was heard of the couple until last Friday, when Mr. Dimsdale received a letter from Mr. W. H. Harris, of Culberson, N.C., stating that "a man by the name of Harper, a low chunky fellow, sandy hair and very freckled, came to his his house three weeks ago with a woman whom he at first claimed to be his wife. The woman was sick with billous fever and grew worse, when he started for a doctor but never returned. The woman was spare made, with dark hair and eyes. While on her deathbed she said she was ruined for- ever; that she had left her husband and two little children; that her husband's name was W. S. Dimsdale and that he lived near Ball Ground. She died on the 16th of January with billous fever. It is supposed that Har- per slipped back home and moved his family away, and is now living with them again. He is a fiend of blackest hue.
