A Child Burned

The infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Wyley Bailey, near Canton, about one year old,
was fatally burned on last Sunday.  The child was near the coffee pot wich (sic)
was boiling.  The child reached and took the spout in its mouth and sucked the
steam in its wind pipe.  It suffered terribly till next day and death brought it
relief.  Dr. Sewell attended it.
