C. Cantrell who lives a few miles above Canton, died very suddenly in Marietta last Saturday, being sick only about fourteen hours, of spotted fever (sic-meningitis). He had just reached the years of maturity, was fresh and vigorous, and began making a livelihood for himself, and was in the employ of M. R. Lyon, of Marietta. Milledge was a young man of many excellent traits of character, truthful, honest, temperate, and moral. We mourn his sudden demise, and tender our sympathies to the stricken parents, relatives and friends.
