Died-On the 22nd inst. Mr. Martin W. Dobbs of congestion of the brain at his
home in Fair Play District.  Mr. Dobbs was an old and respected citizen having
lived here more than 40 years.  His death was very sudden-he even worked all
during the day before his death.  he leaves a wife, a number of children all of
whom are married, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his sudden
demise.  We tender our sympathise (sic) to the bereaved.

. . .Died-April 28th Mr. Martin Dobbs son of Mr. "Chap. Dobbs who lives near
this place.  Mr. Dobbs had for a long while been affected with Bronchitis, which
eventually ended his earthly career.
