During her sickness she was visited by only one or two and the only attention she received was from Mrs. Curtis, wife of our Deputy Sheriff, who, with her many other household duties, was no doubt oftentimes compelled to neglect her. She was an object of pity and th (sic) own upon the cold charities of a friendless world no doubt suffered very greatly mentally and physically, and neglected in her spiritual training. We do not know whether or not she was prepared to die, but trust she was and that her soul has been received into a warm and loving embrace by her Savior who died for all. The 25th chapter of Mathew is applicable to this case--read it.
