T. Gaines, left earth for Heaven. A sufferer from infancy with something like asthma, she struggled for nearly six years in life's battle, bearing patiently her suffering and gladdening with her smiles the father's life. A few months ago the mother bid adieu to earth's joys and sorrows and with confidence born of acquaintance with Christ entered the dark valley. While loved ones weep here the mother and child rejoice in glad reunion among the 'summer hills of God" Life has its sorrows as well as joys, but, thank God, that the sunshine of His promises, shining through tears of suffering here, gild with the radiance of eternal Life the dark blossom of the tomb. One by one we are passing over, nor will it be long before father, mother and children will strike hands and 'the anthems of the blest" on the crystal shores of eternal life. O. C.
