Marshal Hewell died at his home in this place last Thursday.  He had just
entered his twenty-fith (sic) year.  He had been sickly since childhood and died
of consumption.  Joined the Methodist church when a mere boy and was always
known as a chirstian (sic) young man.  His remains were interred in the town
cemetery.  Funeral ceremonies conducted by Rev. C. M. McClure.  He leaves a
widowed mother, with whom we deeply sympathise (sic).
