A Tribute
Whereas in the providence of an all-wise and merciful Father, our brother C. R.
Holbrook, a faithful and worthy member of this Quarterly Conference has been
called from us, by death, since our last meeting.

Resolved 1st, That in the death of brother Holbrook, the church has lost a most
faithful steward, and the quarterly conference a safe and wise counseler (sic).

Resolved 2nd.  That we extend to the bereaved wife and little daughter, our
heart-felt sympathies, and to all friends the earnest request that they follow
him as he followed Christ.

Resolved 3rd, That this preamble and these resolntion (sic) be published in the
Wesleyan Christian Advocate and Cherokee Advance--A copy to be spread upon the
minutes of this quarterly conference.  Also a copy be sent to the family of the
deceased.
