The Cherokee Advance (Canton, Ga.)   Friday 26 Nov 1886 p 2
Americus Keith, wife of Jas W Keith, died in peace at the house of M. A. 
Keith, in Cherokee county, Ga., November 20th, 1886, in her 48th year.  Her 
husband died some six years before, and, having no children, she felt lonely 
and desolate.  Shortly after the death of her husband, she experienced a 
change of heart, and laid hold of the hope that anchors within the Vale. 
She was a quiet, peacable (sic) girl-a devoted, loving wife, and a true 
friend, beloved by all who knew her. 
Side by side, in the family grav eyard (sic) near Allen Keith's, she and her 
husband sweetly sleep in hope of the resurrection of the just.     C. M.
