Death

Mrs. McCanless, wife of William McCandless, near Canton, died at her home on
last Monday.  Mrs. McCanless was a noble true woman and pious christian.  She
had long been a sufferer from that fell disease that has destroyed thousands at
the fair good in the land, CONSUMPTION.  She was a great sufferer but bore all,
as we learn as a true christian only can bear affliction.

Her stricken husband and devoted children will long feel the sad loss they have
sustained.  May that Power which can temper the wind to the shorn lamb give them
consolation in their affliction.
