The ravaging hand of death, directed by the wisdom and will of a kind and
beneficent God has seen proper to cast in his sickle and cut down one so very
young, a tender bud, whose petals were unfolded to the parching heat of vigorous
winds of time and has taken our beloved little classmate and fellow pupil
Estelle Moore and has wafted her spirit on balmy wings from time to that
celestial shore where her pearly feet shall tread the golden streets and rest
her weary head on the bosom of a loving Savior.  Therefore be it resolved

First.  That while we mount the death of our little one yet we trust and believe
that she is now at rest, folded closely in the loving arms of Jesus.

Second.  That in her death we have lost a much beloved pupil and friend, the
fireside a chaim (sic), her parents a fond child but Heaven has gained a
precious jewel.

Third.  That these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of our Sunday School,
a copy furnished the parents of the deceased, and also the Cherokee Advance with
request to publish the same.     Lovingly,
