In Memoriam
Paul D. --Son of Osgood and Sarah Moore departed this life the 4th of March, 
1886, aged eight years, two months and fifteen days.
Only a little while ago this beloved child, with his bouyant (sic) health, 
beauty and happiness, was with us; now his body sleeps beneath the soil, while 
his spirit rests with Him who gave it. 
He was suddenly stricken with cerebrospinal meningitis, or spotted fever, and 
suffered great agony for thirteen days.  He was attended by Drs. Moore & 
Hardin.  But the skill of his physicians, and the prayers and tears of his 
friends were of no avail, else he would have been with us today.  His death was 
calm---those around his death bed  
"Saw in death his eyelids close,
Calmly as to a night's repose,
Like flowers at set of sun.".  J. K. M.
