Obituary Notice
Died, at his residence in Cherokee county, Ga., February 10, 1885, James L. 
Olive, in the 65th year of his age.  he was born in Wake county, N. C., and 
has been a citizen of Cherokee county, Ga., for 40 years.  He was a good man 
and highly respected by all who knew him.  Had been a faithful member of the 
Bible Christian church for many years, and a faithful minister of the gospel 
for 26 years, and had been the means of much good being done in the cause of 
his Master.  His funeral was attended by a large concourse of friends and 
relatives who mourn the loss of so good a man--though our loss is his eternal 
gain.  Rev. W. M. Donehoo conducted the funeral services on the sad occasion  
His remains were buried at the Rusk burying ground in Cherokee county, Ga. --A 
Friend.
