The Cherokee Advance 9 Jul 1884 p 3
Death has again visited Canton and this time called away Mrs. Lunda Pollard
daughter of E. G. Gramling. She was an estimable young woman of quiet,
inoffensive, unassuming character against whom naught could be said.  She leaves
a six weeks old babe; husband, father, mother, sisters brothers and a host of
relatives and friends to mourn her demise.  We tender our sympathise (sic) to
the bereaved.  Her remains were entered in the Town Cemetery yesterday evening.
