Tribute of Respect . . .
Mary E. V. Reece was born in Cherokee county, Georgia, June 19, 1841, converted 
to God and joined the M. E. church at Ebenezer-under Brother Seals--in 1858.  
Departed this life June 12, 1885.
Sister Reece died as she had lived in the full triumphs of a living faith.  She 
was a faithful companion, an affectionate mother and a devoted Christian. 
Her example as a Christian will live after her, and rest like a heavenly 
benediction upon her devoted family.  Peace be to her ashes and gratitude to God 
for her Christian character! "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord."
