In Memoriam

We the committee appointed by the Hickory Flat Lodge, No. 205 F and A M. on
resolutions in regard to the death of our brother R. B. Simpson, make the
following.

Resolved 1st.  That we recognize in the death of our brother, the hand of an
Allwise God who is too wise to err, and to good to be unkind, He has seen fit to
romeve (sic) our brother from the labors of this ledge we hope to refreshments
in the Lodge in that Temple not made with hands, eternal in Heaven, and we bow
in submission. 

Resolved 2nd.  That the members of the Lodge wear the usual badge of mourning
for 30 days, and that we also drape the Lodge in mourning. 

Resolved 3rd.  That we extend to the bereaved family of our deceased brother,
our heart felt sympaty (sic) in this their sad bereavement. 

Resolved 4th.  That these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of the Lodge,
and a copy of the same be furnished the family of the deceased and also a copy
be sent to the Editor of the Cherokee Advance for publication.
