The Cherokee Advance (Canton, Ga.)   Friday 26 Nov 1886 p 3
We were pained and surprised to learn of the death of Dr. C. S. Strother at his 
home near Macedonia, in this county, last Friday.  He had gone out into the 
horse lot, and died very suddenly.  He was a good doctor, and a man of full 
sense, when properly at himself.
