Passed Away

Died Tuesday morning, the 7th instant, about 1 o'clock, little Joel, the only
son of Rev. and Mrs. M. B. Tuggle.  He was taken sick with pneumonia about ten
days previous to his death, and continued to grow worse till death relieved him
of all suffering.  If medical skill, kind attention and agonizing prayers, had
prevailed, he would have been restored.  But God willed otherwise and "He doeth
all things well."  Little Joel was a remarkably bright child of little over two
years of age, and was almost idolized by the family.  Our deepest sympathies are
with the family. 
  
God tempers the cold blast,
To the frail little lamb;
And the storm, clears atlast (sic),
In the bright sunny calm.
