M. Turk, were laid to rest, with fitting and appropriate ceremonies by Revs. McClure and Speer, in the town cemetery. It had suffered very greatly for the past few months, as the facial contortions and almost incessant writhing of the little one had indicated. But it now rests in the arms of Jesus and beckons parents, brothers and sisters and friends "over the river." There it is safe and beyond the temptations and allurements of this vain, sinful world. May we all be as sure of a peaceful rest as we know this little one is! We deeply sympathize with the bereaved ones. "I take these little lambs," said he, "And lay them in my breast, Protection they shall find in me, In me be ever blest. "Death may the bands of life unloose, But can't dissolve my love, Millions of infant soul compose The family above."
