I Reuben Day of said State and county being of advanced age but of sound and disposing mind and memory knowing that I must shortly depart this life, deem it right and proper both as respects myself and family that I should make a disposition of that property with which a kind providence has blessed me, I do therefore make this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and annulling all others by me heretofore made. First I desire that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner suitable to my circumstances and condition in life. My Soul I trust shall return to rest with God who gave it. I hope for Salvation through the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Secondly I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid without delay by my executor hereinafter named and appointed. Thirdly I will and bequeath to my beloved wife, Caroline P. Day a childs part of my Estate sharing with those that get a full share, this being the marriage contract. It is also my desire that my beloved wife keep her separate Estate at the time of our marriage undisturbed by any of my Representatives. Fourthly I desire and direct that my wife Caroline have and hold all new property or proceeds of her own individual acquirements since our marriage up to my death. Fifthly I will and bequeath the remainder of my property as follows, to wit, to the lawful heirs of my son Allen B. Day, after deducting the amount of thirty dollars they will then share with my other children. To the lawful heirs of my Daughter Francis L. Graham that portion of my estate she would have been entitled to except twenty-five dollars $25.00 being incurred by me in my daughters last sickness. To my other children J. B. Day, E. W. Day, C. M. Day, Lucinda C. Reese and the lawful heirs of William M. Day shared equal with my wife. Sixthly It is my desire that my Executors hereinafter to be appointed will proceed as soon as practicable after my death to advertise and sell my property and divide it among my children and grand children as I bequested it. Seventhly I hereby constitute and appoint my sons E. W. and J. B. Day Executors of this my Last Will and Testament. This August the 28th, 1886. C., April 21st 1808; was married to Reuben Day in 1826; moved to Cherokee county, Ga., in 1852; where she remained until she died March 8th 1875.
