Based on the information contained in the actual document a correction needs to be made as to what the wording actually represented. Please note: All items documented in BLUE are in fact written into the document and not pre-printed. The CORRECTIONS are as follows: 1. The spelling of my Grandfather's name is FRANK MIKEL. (The mother of this child was Bertha Mae (Ledford) Mikel (by marriage of first husband would have been Bertha Mae Ledford McMahon) 2. The name of the person buried here is LILLIE MIKEL, and her age was 3 DAYS OLD. Local Registrar. Dated_____April 30___19_29___ Address___Canton GA____________________ The death certificate I am questioning is: Certificate #09968-K MIKEL, Lilla M. Died: April 30, 1929 Is this the same person, and if so, the name is incorrect and very possibly the age, as I have had no luck in viewing the actual death cert. document and am hoping my aunt has this. I would like to ensure accuracy to the archives of Cherokee County, the state of Georgia, and the National GenWeb project.
