Cupid's Doing
On Tuesday night, 22d instant, at the residence of the bride's grandfather, 
Mr. J. L. Peers, on East Harris street, Mr. L. B. Owen of Marietta, was 
married to Miss Cornelia E. Brown, the charming daughter of Dr. and Mrs. A. P. 
Brown, of this city, and niece of Senator Joseph E. Brown.
The attendants were Mr. Joseph M. Brown and Miss Lizzie Goldsmith, and Mr. 
William McKenzie, of Marietta, and Miss Fannie Goldsmith. 
A number of beautiful bridal presents were proofs of the good wishes of the 
donors, an elegant supper was enjoyed by all, and the occasion was one rich 
with happy remembrances and pleasant promises.
