The Cherokee Advance 7 Feb 1884 p 3
Married-At the residence of the brides (sic) mother on Sunday Feb 4th by John G.
Heard Esq Geo. W. Cooly to Miss Lovancy Edwards.  Miss Lovancy was well known in
Canton where she was quite a favorite with the boys.  We hope the happy couple
may have a happy time in this world and be wafted finaly (sic) to "mansions on
high".
