Geo. I. Teasley, of this place, and Miss Jeffie E. Fain, of Gordon county. Rev. Jas. S. Hilhouse, presbyterian (sic) minister, officiating. After spending a few hours pleasantly among friends and relatives at Spring Place have returned to Canton and at present are boarding with Col. Jabez Galt. Mrs. Teasley, since a mere girl, has been an orphan, is a niece of Judge Fain, of Spring Place, and Mrs. John Geurin, of this county, is an accomplished and dignified young lady of pleasant, sociable and refined manners. Col. Teasley is well known to the people of our county as a rising and promising young lawyer, he is county school commissioner, a thorough gentleman and respected by all who are acquainted with him. We congratulate each upon their choice, and wish them a long life of happiness, peace and prosperity.
