The Cherokee Advance 1 Sept 1883 p 2 
Marriage

On Sunday morning the 26th ult. Mr. Lewis Pollard and Miss Luda, daughter of
sheriff E. G. Gramling were married at the home of the bride's father in Canton.
 Judge C. M. McClure officiating in the celebration of the holy and interesting
rites.  On Monday they very happy couple left for the home of the bride groom in
South Carolina. 
The warmest wishes of the Advance follow them to their home, with the best
wishes for their future happiness and prosperity.
