Its The Devil Again.-He made a mistake last week in setting up the marriage 
notice of Cross-McConnell and caused it to read Sunday instead of Tuesday that 
they were married.  The senior Devil done this.

Marriages
On Sunday evening last at W. W. Worleys' residence near Holly Springs, Mr. W. 
H. Cross, of Arkansas, and Miss Sallie McConnell, of this county, were united 
in marriage by Rev. C. M. McClure.  Mr. Cross was formerly a resident of 
Milton county, but is now a prosperous and well-to-do farmer of Arkansas.  
Miss Sallie is one of Cherokees most estimable ladies, and Mr. Cross has made 
a happy selection.  They will return to Greenwood Arkansas next Monday 
carrying with them the good wishes of many.  May they have a long life of 
prosperity and their only troubles be little crosses.
