A wedding in high life was among the happy social events in colored circles last
Sunday evening.  At 8 oclock at the colored Baptist church, Mr. Sherman Grisham
and Miss Emma Scott were united in marriage by Rev. H. A. Burge, witnessed by 
large crowd of blacks and whites.  Both belong to the best colored families of
the town and are respected by all.  We can wish them no less than happiness and
prosperity.
