(Recorded March 9, 1850) Cherokee County, Georgia Minute Book B, p43 March 4, 1850- Isaac Barnes (also spelt Barren), was the son of James Barnes, deceased, and he objected to the appointment of Jeffrey Beck as administrator of his father's estate. With his objection, the court appointed Isaac as the administrator. Elijah Barnes was permitted to take charge of the negroes and plantation belonging to said deceased and that he was to make a crop on the land. p46 September 12, 1850- Isaac Barrens was given leave to sell the land and negroes, belonging to the estate of James Barnes, deceased. He sold this for the benefit of the heirs and creditors. p51 January 27, 1851- Isaac Barrons was ordered to have his return on the estate of James Barron admitted to the court. p78 November 1852-- Isaac Barrons was ordered to have his return on the estate of James Barron admitted to the court. p135 March 1853-- Isaac Barrons was ordered to have his return on the estate of James Barron admitted to the court.
