DEAN, I, W.H. DEAN of the State and County aforesaid, being of sound mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament. Having as I trust a good hope through grace of everlasting live; and now being old and well stricken in years; feel that it is right and proper, that I make such disposition of the little property with which a kind Providence has blessed me as will accord with my feelings and duty. Item 1st: If I am owing any debts I desire that Lula E. MCAFEE pay them soona s practicable, together with my burial expenses and doctors bills if any, be apid out of funds I may have on hand when I die. Item 2nd: Whereas, long years ago when Dr. Will L. DEAN first commenced housekeeping we gave him the greater portion of our household and kitchen furniture; and on iron safe, books and case, etc., also my Medical Library, office medicines and furniture, medical and surgical appliances, etc. Therefore, I give to Lula E. MCAFEE all of my household effects of every kind and character; also, all the cash on hand in bills or bank, together with all the notes that I may die possessed of after paying expenses as required in item 1st. i also give to Lula e. MCAFEE the follwoingdescribed real estate in the town of Woodstock Cherokee County, Ga. viz: My old home place a part of land lot 1068 containing twelve acres, more or less, fronting on Main Street, 307 feet, running back west to land line including all the land not otherwise disposed of. Also four acres, more or less, in north west corner of lot 1021 adjoining H. M. DOBBS on west, G. B. HARDIN on the east, to branch on south. Also my Bill PAGE house lot on Mill street 15 1/2 feet front lying between Baptist Church and Andrew JOHNSON lot running back to big gully. Also grocery Store No. 6, now occupied by KEMP on Main Street, size 19 feet by 100 feet. Also a half interest in the Harry KILE lot where mary HARDIN now lives, size 90 x 200 ft. Item 3rd: I also give to Lou C. DEAN administratriz of W.L. DEAN's estate for her children Eva MCAFEE, L. A. DEAN, Hal, Will, Lola and Villa DEAN the following described real estate, viz: Drug Store lot No. 3, 23 ft. front by 100 ft., on Main Stl, Woodstock, Ga. Also the MCGAW house lot, Norht side of Church Street, size, front 100 feet running back to the branch. Also old Academy Lot North side of Church street, size 90ft front running back to J. H. JOHSTON's line 180ft. Also my RUSK house east side of Railroad, including all the original lot except one hundred feet taken off whole length of the lot on the North side of said lot. Also one half interest with Lula E. MCAFEE in the Harry KILE lot where Mary HARDIN now lives, said lot being 90 x 200 feet. Item 4th: The above described property given to Lula E. MCAFEE and Lou C. DEAN Adminstratrix is given direct to them; for the purposes specified; and I hereby authorize them to take immediate possession of said propertysoon as I am dead; to use, rent or sell privately or at public outcry at Woodstock; and make ddeds to said property when sold without the trouble and expense of getting an order from the Ordinary; andall the return I require them to make is to acknoledge receipt of above described property to be recorded on his books. If I through necessity or otherwise should sell any of the property given to Lula E. MCAFFEE, then it shall become the duty of Lou C. DEAN Administratrix to pay Lula E. MCAFFE one half of the value of the place sold. Or if I should sell any of the property give to Lou C. DEAN Aministratrix, then Lula E. MCAFEE must pay her one half of the value of the place sold.
