Hester respectfully showeth that Mary Hester resident of said county departed this life on the 22nd day of December 1887 leaving your petitioner as her next of kin and also leaving a large estate of Real and Personal property worth the sum of $400.00 and at the time of her death the said Mary Hester was living entirely intestate as your petitioner believes and herein alleges. Wherefore he prays the usual citation in such cases to issue in order that he may obtain permanent Letters of Administration on Mary Hester's estate. Hester, Temporary Administrator of the estate of Mary Hester, late of said county (and) deceased shows that certain personal property belonging to the estate of said deceased to witness all the personal property as appraised should be sold, he therefore prays an Order authorizing him to sell said property. This February 9th, 1888 John H. Hester, Administrator Order Cherokee Court of Ordinary February Term February 9th 1888 Upon reading and considering the petition application of John H. Hester Temporary administration of Mary Hester, deceased to sell personal property ordered that he John H. Hester as such administrator have leave to sell all the personal property belonging to said estate after giving notice of such sale by written advertisement for ten days at three or more public places in said county and that he make return of such sale at this office. OW Putnam, Ordinary Page 587 Cherokee County, Georgia It has been ordered that the estate of said deceased consists in part of Lands to wit Numbers 746-766 and 767 the 3rd district and 2nd section of said county and that for the purpose of Distributing among the heirs it is necessary to sell the said land Wherefore petitioner prays an order directing citation to issue and be published as the law requires and if any good cause be shown to the contrary your petitioner be granted leave to sell land. Hester, Petitioner Order for Citation Cherokee Court of Ordinary June Term 1888 Upon reading the foregoing Petition it is ordered that Citation issue therein and be published as the Law requires. Hester Administrator of Mary Hester deceased, has in due form applied to the undersigned for leave to sell the Lands belonging to the estate of said deceased and said application will be heard on the first Monday in August next. this July 6th 1888 OW Putnam, Ordinary Order for Sale of Land Cherokee Court of Ordinary August Term 1888 The Written petition of John H. Hester, as Administrator of the Estate of Mary Hester deceased, praying for leave to sell the land of said deceased having been duly filed, and it appearing that notice of the same has been published as required by it that it is necessary for the purpose of paying the debts of said deceased and for division among the heirs of said deceased that said lands be sold and no objection being filed thereto it is ordered by the court that the said administrator be and is hereby granted leave to sell for the purpose aforesaid the following is entitled lands of said deceased.
