Family record from the bible of Pope Barrow.


Middleton Pope Barrow was born in Ogle. Co. at Avenel 1st Aug. 1839 at 9 
o'clock.

Sarah Craig Barrow was born 18th September 1844 at Fort Jessup, La.

Middleton Pope Barrow and Sarah Church Craig were married Mar. 5, 1867 at 
Prairie View, Florida by Rev. Donald Frazier.

Elizabeth Church Barrow, daughter of Pope and Sarah C. was born Frid. Nov 13th 
1869 at 5 o'clock AM at "Homewood" Ogle. Co.

James, second son of Pope & Sarah C. Barrow was born at Avenel in Wolfskin 
District. County of Oglethorpe on Friday, July fifth 1872.

David Crenshaw, third son of Pope and Sarah C. Barrow was born at the same 
place as the last on Saturday, June 6, 1874.

Craig Barrow was born at Athens, Ga. May 12, 1876, youngest child of Pope and 
Sarah.

Mrs. Sarah C. Barrow died at her home in Athens, Ga. December 28, 1881.

Pope and Cornelia Jackson were married at Marietta, Ga. June 24, 1884.

Florence Barclay Barrow was born at Athens, Ga. April 27, 1885.

Cornelia Sarah Rosamond Augusta Jackson second wife of Pope Barrow was born at 
Savannah, April 23, 1852.

Lucy Hopson Lumpkin wife of Middleton Pope, grandmother of Pope Barrow was 
born February 28, 1803.

Lucy Lumpkin Barrow, daughter of Pope and Cornelia was born at Athens, July 11, 1886 on a Sunday.
