Collier are held firmly bound unto their Honors, Elisur S. Newton, Aaron F. Nunnally, James W. Barnett, William Dicken and Young T G Harris the Justices of the Inferior Court of said county, sitting for Ordinary purposes, for the time being, and their successors in office, in the just and full sum of Three Hundred Dollars; for payment of which sum to said Justices, and their successors in office, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, in the whole and for the whole sum, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this Fifth day of March 1849. The conditions of the above Obligation is such, That whereas, the said Franklin Collier is this day appointed Guardian to William Collier orphan of William Collier Dec’d. Now, if the said Franklin Collier do well and truly demean himself as Guardian aforesaid, agreeable to Letters of Guardianship bearing even date herewith, and agreeable to law, in such case made and provided, the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
