J. Barrett. Georgia Clarke County. This Indenture made and entered into on this the 2nd day of November 1800 between Caroline Tolbert, Nancy A Saye, Blanche Parks and Blanche Parks guardian ad litum for Ella Parks, Richard Parks Emma Parks, Katie Parks and Nellie Parks, minors all of the County of Fulton, State of Georgia parties of the first part, and W. J. Barrett of Clarke County Georgia party of the second part, Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of its sum of $350.00 cash in hand paid at and before the signing, sealing and delivery of this writing by the party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has and does by these presents bargain, sell, alien and convey unto the party of the second part his heirs and assigns all of the following described property to-wit: A certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being on the Nowhere road in the 219 G.M. District in said County of Clarke, containing 69 acres more or less Known as part of the Clarke Tolbert lands and being the same place upon which said Hudson lived at the date of his death and more fully described as follows: Commencing at rock running North 30 E. 16 to rock, South 60 W 31.90 to rock S South 54 W 21.86 South 80 E 37.25 black Gum, there creek to rock West 60 E 11.50 to rock. As will appear by reference to a surveyors platt hereto attached, withal and singular the rights, titles, members appurtenances thereto attached and belonging forever and in Fee Simple (except 2 acres thereof which has been heretofore sold to G___ Green, May Owens) To Have and To Hold the aforesaid premises unto the only proper use benefit and behoof of the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part for themselves their heirs and assigns and to carry out the order of the Superior Court heretofore granted will and does by these presents warrant and will forever defend the right and title thereto unto the party of the second part his heirs executors and administrators and assigns against themselves the parties of the first part their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns and against the claims of any and all other person or persons whomsoever. In Witness whereof the said parties of the first part hereunto do their hands and seals in their individual capacities and the said Blanche Parks sets her hand and seal in her official capacity as guardian ad litum for said minors and deliver these presents the day and date first above written.
