This indenture made this 25th day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand
eighteen hundred and twenty one between Thomas Moore of the one part and Cager
Gann of the other part both of the State and County aforesaid Witneseth that the
said Thomas Moore for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars
to him in hand paid the right and receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath
bargained sold and granted and by these presents doth sell and grant unto the
said Cager Gann one tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres the
same more or less lying and being in the State and County aforesaid on the
waters of Robertson Creek and known by the Cansy head tract of land bounding as
follows to wit: beginning at a spanish oak Corner on Mary Middletons Line thence
to a post oak Corner on Cagles line thence on Cagles line to a post oak corner
thence on said line to a post oak corner thence on Trammels line to a hickory
Corner thence a straight line to a pine Corner on Mary Middletons Line thence on
a straight line to the beginning Corner       Together with all and singular the
rights and appertenances thereunto in any ____ belonging unto the Sd. Cager Gann
his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple and the said Thomas Moore will for
himself and his heirs forever warrant and defend the said tract to Cager Gann
from every other person or persons in witness whereof the said Moore hath
hereunto set his hand and offered his seal this day and year above written
