Mr. Aaron was a farmer most of his life and a veteran of the United States Navy. Graveside services will be Friday, March 9, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Arnoldsville Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Epps officiating. Survivors include a son, Lamar (Pam) Aaron, of Arnoldsville; brothers, Hubert Aaron, of Athens, Milton Aaron, of Lexington, Glen Aaron, of Wrens, sisters, Ruth Norman, of Greensboro, Frances Gruenert, of Hayesville, N. C., Faye Barrett of Atlanta, GA, Margaret Savage, of Macon, GA; seven grandchildren, Robin (Bill) Patton, Audrey (Shane) Guest, Cindy Carney, Katie Aaron, Patti (Jason) Turner, Roxzanne Richards, and Jesse Aaron; seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home, and may be reached at the residence of Lamar and Pam Aaron, Arnoldsville.
