A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Emswiler was a daughter of the late Tom and Addie Barnett Crawford and widow of Wilmer Emswiler. She was of the Methodist faith and was a retired machine operator for a sewing plant. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today at Bernstein Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bud McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Elizabeth Watson Cook of 1416 Cove Place, formerly of 121 Springdale St., Athens, died Friday, Aug. 30, 1996. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Cook was a daughter of the late A.J. "Captain Jack" and Fannie Daniels Watson and widow of Albert B. Cook. She was a graduate of Georgia State Teachers College and was a member of First Baptist Church of Athens. Graveside services were at 4 p.m. Sunday in Mount Vernon Christian Church Cemetery, Athens. Dr. Jon Appleton officiated. Cobb, 73, of 750 S. Big A Road died Saturday, Aug. 31, 1996. A native of Franklin County, Mr. Cobb was a son of the late Tillman S. and Martha Bell Cobb. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Cobb. Evans, 87, of 400 Downs Blvd., formerly of Naples, Fla., died Saturday, Aug. 31, 1996. A native of Ancom, Panama, Mr. Evans was a son of the late Leroy Parker and Ethel Grieser Evans. He was a retired executive with F.W. Woolworth in Atlanta. He was a member of Lions, Kiwanis and Masons and was of the Presbyterian faith.
