A native of Athens, Mrs. Jewett was a daughter of the late Warren Marshall Newman and Clara Creighton Newman. She was the widow of Edward Albert Jewett. She was a member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Bernstein Chapel with the Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating. Burial will be in Howington Cemetery, Nicholson. Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Newman, Athens; a sister, Evelyn Antans, Athens; and several nieces and nephews. Waymon H. Hadaway Decatur Waymon Harold Hadaway, 47, of 5254 Covington Highway, died Friday, Nov. 1, 1996. A native of DeKalb County, Mr. Hadaway was a son of Roger Wilson Hadaway and the late Effie Jewell Cannon Hadaway. He was employed as a water proofer. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Simmons Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Carl Hyde and Dewey Childers officiating. Howard Toccoa Geneva Elizabeth Garner Howard, 75, of Old Brookhaven Circle, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 1996. A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Howard was a daughter of the late Lonnie A. and Lizzie Whitlock Garner. She was a widow of Coy Kimsey Howard. She retired from Coats and Clark with over 40 years of employment. She was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. A native of Madison County, Fla., Mrs. Brake was a daughter of the late William and Josephine Faulkner Ferrill. She was retired as a beautician after 20 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Boca Raton, Fla. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Boca Raton Municipal Cemetery, Boca Raton, with Mike Robertson officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Paula Robertson, Baldwin; and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to any charity.
