Burial will be in Howington Cemetery, Nicholson. Jackie McLeroy Danielsville Jackie Ann Gooch McLeroy, 45, of Macedonia Church Road died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 1996. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. McLeroy was a daughter of of Ida Mae Chambers Weaver, Danielsville, and the late L.J. Gooch. She was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at the church with the Rev. Ardis Anglin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He was a retired correctional officer from Clarke County and after his retirement was a Clarke County school crossing guard. He was a member of the Cattleman's Association, the Correctional Officers Association and Bogart Baptist Church. Latimer Elberton Rachel Joiner Hawkins Latimer, 85, of 651 Rhodes Drive died Sunday, Dec. 1, 1996. A native of Alabama City, Ala., Mrs. Latimer was a daughter of the late Harry N. and Mary Frances Herring Joiner and the widow of Vasco Walter Hawkins and Comer Fulcher Latimer. She was the owner of Rachel's Beauty Salon in Comer and was involved in the Heart Association, where she was a former Heart Fund chairwoman for Madison County. She was a member of Comer Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and served as president of the Women's Society of Christian Service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was of the Baptist faith. He was a former farmer, school bus driver with Madison County School System and truck driver.
