A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Eckenrod was a daughter of the late Clyde L. and Mamie L. Arnold Saye and the widow of Robert C. Eckenrod Sr. She was a retired payroll clerk for Fritz-Mar Manufacturing Co. and the owner of Eckenrod Photography. She was a member of VFW Post 2872 Auxiliary, the Moose Club and West End Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Ralph Mabry will officiate. Marlow Jefferson James Charlie Marlow, 63, of 926 Davis Road died Thursday, Oct. 3, 1996. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Marlow was a son of the late Stoy Jackson and Lydia Brown Marlow. He was a retired textile worker, a Korean War Air Force veteran and a Baptist. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Center Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Curtis Cross and Clinton Gooch officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Virginia L. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Minish was a son of the late Henry and Jessie Tuggle Minish and the widower of Juanita Bernice Minish. He was a member of Little Country Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Little Country Church with the Rev. Jimmy Owensby officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. James Puckett Cornelia James Louis Puckett, 84, of Wood Street died Thursday, Oct. 3, 1996. A native of Carrollton, Mr. Puckett was a son of the late Will and Eddie Bell Puckett. He was the retired owner of Otasco in Cornelia. He was a former member of the Habersham County Medical Center Authority, the housing authority and the Optimist Club. He was a member of Cornelia First United Methodist Church.
