A native of Barrow County, Mr. Peppers was a son of the late Willis and Jewell M. Peppers. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was retired from General Motors after 30 years. He was a member of Carter Hill Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Carter-Hill Christian Church with the Revs. Ned Davis and Jim Webb officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Viola Peppers; a son, Ricky Dean Peppers, Winder; three daughters, Carol O'Donell, Statham, Patricia Gentry and Rebecca Peppers, both of Winder; two sisters, Laree Pierce and Dot Thomas, both of Winder; and five grandchildren. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ricky A. Franklin, Bethlehem Ricky A. Franklin, 42, died Monday, Sept. 2, 1996. Mr. Franklin was a son of Bessie L. Franklin, Greenville, Miss. Funeral services will be held Saturday in Greenville, Miss. Burial will be in Delta Memorial Garden, Greenville, Miss. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Loretta Franklin; three children, Quincey Newson, Greenville, Miss., Tracey Stephen, Bethlehem, and Christopher Stephen, Columbus; two brothers, David Franklin and Walter Franklin, both of Greenville, Miss.; four sisters, Jessie F. Williams, Bessie F. Simmons and Applice F. Lawrence, all of Greenville, Miss., and Linda F. Davis, Jackson, Miss. The family will receive friends from 7-8 tonight at Eberhart's Funeral Home, Winder. Eberhart & Son Mortuary, Winder, and Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville, Miss., are in charge of arrangements. DEATH NOTICES Nellie M. Johnson, VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Nellie M.
