A native of Barrow County, Mrs. Harwell was a daughter of the late Paul E. and Myrtle Marlow Carter and the widow of Bill Harwell. She graduated from Winder-Barrow High School, attended North Georgia College, graduated from Crawford W. Long School of Nursing and worked at Family Physicians, P.A. She was a member of Winder Universalist Church and attended Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home Memory Chapel, Winder, with the Revs. John Batusic and Kennedy Smart officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Hague Athens Melissa Lynn Hague, 20, formerly of Marietta, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 1996. Ms. Hague was a daughter of Roger and Laree Hague of Marietta. She was a student at the University of Georgia. He was a machine operator at Monroe Auto Equipment Co., an avid deer hunter and a member of Mount Olivet Church of God. He was the owner and operator of Superior Lacquer Co. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Stephens Memorial Gardens, Toccoa. Survivors include his wife, Thelma L.
